When it comes to footwear innovations, we always think adidas first as it has been running in the fast lane. Now, it is available in the US now with a $110 price tag in men’s and women’s versions. You can get two colorways: Core Black and Clear Grey. As indicated by the name, the alphabounce features BOUNCE midsole, supplemented by an adaptive FORGEDMESH upper for a close fit.
The alphabounce franchise debuted in 2016 and this is the first major technical update with engineered mesh in the upper. Continuing the style of the original, the upper features a muted all-over graphic inspired by adidas ARAMIS testing; a motion-capturing technology used in shoe development to capture the miniscule details of impact absorption in the foot during athletic performance.
For the release of the shoe, adidas tapped spoken word artist Gil Scott-Heron to perform “Running” in a 60-second video featuring top adidas athletes NFL cornerback Marcus Peters, MLB shortstop Carlos Correa, and NBA forward Justise Winslow:
